The AI-Meat Lab, led by Prof. Haizhou Wu, proudly announces the completion and full commissioning of its dedicated Meat Food Processing Laboratory. This milestone establishes a robust hardware foundation bridging fundamental meat science and industrial application.
Designed to meet modern food processing standards, the new facility features a comprehensive layout, including a raw material processing zone, a cooked product zone, a packaging workshop, and clean corridors. This design ensures a strict, closed-loop workflow management from raw materials to final packaged products.
The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art processing and testing equipment covering the full workflow, from raw material handling to processing and packaging. All equipment has been fully installed and calibrated, providing a complete and advanced platform for high-level meat research.
The completion of this facility significantly enhances the AI-Meat Lab’s capabilities in processing technology, quality control, and novel product development. It will serve as a critical platform for undertaking major research projects and fostering deep industry-academia collaboration.
